Adopt rather then shop?

As we all know there's two options when wanting to find a new companion and that is to either adopt or shop,but the real question is which one is better?Of course it's adopting,by adopting you are allowing for dogs to have a second chance at life and hopefully find a forever home.Surely you don't want to be buying dogs from illegal breeders that just want to profit and not provide a good future for these cute doggos.
